By accessing or using the JoinSquad platform at joinsquad.co.uk (and any subdomain thereof), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.
JoinSquad is operated as a sole trader in England and Wales. Contact: hello@joinsquad.co.uk.
Applies to registered users who book clay pigeon shooting squads through the platform.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@joinsquad.co.uk.
When you make a booking through JoinSquad, you are reserving a place on a squad at a specific shooting ground. You are responsible for attending your booked squad or cancelling in sufficient time in accordance with the cancellation policy of the relevant shooting ground.
Cancellation policies are set by individual shooting grounds and vary between venues. JoinSquad is not responsible for the cancellation policies of shooting grounds, and we are not liable for any costs, charges, or losses you incur as a result of a late or missed cancellation. Please check the ground's policy before booking.
JoinSquad provides booking software only. The shooting ground itself is an independent business and is solely responsible for the safety, operation, insurance, staffing, and all aspects of the shooting event. JoinSquad has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the conduct of any shooting ground or event.
JoinSquad accepts no liability for any personal injury, death, loss, or damage suffered by you at or in connection with a shooting ground or shooting event. Attendance at a shooting ground is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits JoinSquad's liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Joining a waitlist for a squad is not a confirmed booking. You will only be confirmed onto a squad if a place becomes available and the ground or platform notifies you of confirmation. Do not attend a shoot on the basis of a waitlist place alone.
We will send you transactional emails relating to your account and bookings (such as confirmations, cancellations, and reminders). We may also send you occasional JoinSquad service update and news emails about new features and platform improvements. You can switch off these update and news emails at any time from your profile or via the unsubscribe link in any such email, without affecting your account or bookings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Applies to shooting grounds and their administrators who subscribe to the JoinSquad platform.
Access to Ground Admin features requires a monthly recurring subscription, processed via Stripe. A free trial period may be offered at sign-up as shown on the pricing page. After any free trial, your subscription will renew automatically each month unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise JoinSquad to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by contacting us at hello@joinsquad.co.uk. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Ground Admin features until the end of your current paid billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Ground Admins are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all information they publish through the platform, including shoot dates, squad capacities, prices, and ground descriptions. JoinSquad accepts no liability for losses arising from inaccurate or out-of-date information published by a ground.
Ground Admins must ensure they hold appropriate public liability insurance and have suitable safety procedures in place for all shooting events. JoinSquad provides booking management software only and is not responsible for the safety, operation, or legal compliance of any shooting event or ground. Nothing in these terms creates any employment or agency relationship between JoinSquad and a Ground Admin.
Ground Admins access personal data of their shooters (such as names and booking history) through the platform. In this context, the Ground Admin acts as an independent data controller for that personal data, and JoinSquad acts as a data processor on the Ground Admin's behalf. Ground Admins are responsible for ensuring their use of shooter personal data complies with UK GDPR and any applicable data protection law. If required, Ground Admins should ensure an appropriate data processing agreement is in place.
JoinSquad's total liability to a Ground Admin arising out of or in connection with these terms (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by that Ground Admin in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. JoinSquad shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss of profit claims.
Applies to all users of the JoinSquad platform.
JoinSquad reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion, where we reasonably believe the account has been used for misuse, abuse, fraudulent activity, or in breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice before taking such action.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
JoinSquad reserves the right to update these Terms of Service with reasonable notice. We will post a notice on the platform and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
